The garden covers 0.2 km2. The Zoo Auckland is divided according to regions form which the animals came from. In 2010, a new section called Wao Nui was built. It presents the flora and fauna of New Zealand . The area of Zoo Auckland has increased by this exposition by almost a third. The zoo is open daily from 9:30 to 5:30 p.m. You can also arrange private tour after closing time. Zoo Auckland holds various evening events-the most popular event is Zoo Music and Safari Nights.
