Veľká Rača

During the winter season you can use shuttle transport from the Czech Republic and Poland. In Slovakia, there is regular shuttle transport from Bratislava and Nitra . On the way to Veľká Rača the buses stop in larger towns. A free-of-charge parking area is right under the slopes. It closes as soon as its capacity is fully occupied so it is recommended to come in the morning..

Ski resort

Veľká Rača - Oščadnica has 14 kilometres of downhill slopes and 5 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails. It offers slopes both for beginners and for experienced skiers too. There are three ski localities - Dedovka, Marguša and Laliky. They are interconnected with slopes and ski-lifts.

Veľká Rača offers new chair lifts, catering and accommodation facilities, a ski rental shop, lockers, toilets and a ski school. Veľká Rača in summer

During the summer season the resort of Veľká Rača - Oščadnica is transformed into the Sun Paradise. It offers a number of attractions, such as the a bobsleigh track, a rope centre, trampolines and bike and scooter downhill rides. In May, June and September the Sun Paradise in Veľká Rača is open at weekends, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In July and August it is open every day from to 6 p.m.
