The Tyssaer Wände are divided to Grosse Tyssaer Steine (Great Tyssa Rocks) and Kleine Tyssaer Steine (Little Tyssa Rocks) . The rocks rising above the village Tisá are facing south. The area of the rock city is 100 ha. Behind the wall, there is a maze of various rock formations with rock windows and gates. These rocks resemble various creatures or objects. The highest point of the rocks is 613 m high.
At the eastern end of the walls stands a tourist chalet with a restaurant. The entrance to the rocks without a guide had been prohibited until the early 20th century. Today, the Tyssaer Wände are a paradise for tourists and climbers. There is an admission fee to the Tyssaer Wände: adults 30 CZK, children under 15 years 15 CZK.
