Tinh Xa Trung Tam

Tinh Xa Trung Tam is a Buddhist temple in Vietnam. It is situated in the south of the country in Ho Chi Minh City in Nguyen Trung Truc 7 street. Tinh Xa Trung Tam is a complex of Buddhist buildings, which cover the area of 5490 m2. Their construction was started in 1965 and completed in 1975. The main ceremonial hall has an octagonal shape. It is decorated with 12 paintings depicting important events from the life of Gautama Buddha. The hall is dominated by the statue of Gautama Buddha. All the works of art are made by a group of artists of Long An school. In the front courtyard of Tinh Xa Trung Tam is a 9m tall statue of Avalokiteshvara Bódhisattva.
