Techirghiol Lake, near the city of Eforie Nord, owes its name to its water rich in minerals. Spas on the lake´s shore specialize in treatment of rheumatism and disorders caused by polio. The shore is covered with black therapeutical mud. There is also a nudist beach (divided into female and male sections).
