Swansea Bay, a popular tourist region in Wales, UK, is situated between Neath, Port Talbot and Porthcawl. The most frequently locality is the town if Swansea, full of attractions and shops less than 10 minutes walk from the sea. At the west end of the bay is the pretty seaside village of Mumbles, complete with medieval castle, Victorian Pier and four famous Welsh-Italian ice cream parlours. If you go along the coast, you will reach the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Gower Peninsula with beautiful coves and beaches. Nearby you can discover the Vale of Neath with breathtaking waterfalls. There are excellent mountain biking trails at Afan Forest Park.
