The Stone Sea in Vyhne comprises white or reddish ryolit boulders. Due to gravity, the largest boulders had settled in the bottom part while the upper part consists of smaller stones. The Stone Sea in Vyhne occupies an area of 5.5 hectares. Since 1923 it has been a nature reserve of total area 13.3 hectares.
There area numerous rare species in Stone Sea in Vyhne, especially reptiles. The Stone Sea is included in the A. Kmeť Educational Trail.
