Stępina village is well known for a fact, that durict World War 2, Adolf Hitler built here special bunker for his escape train called America. A tunnel, where train was hidden, is 385m long, 11,4 meters high and walls are 4 meters wide. This tunnel was placed very well in common nature, so satellite photos could not discover it. Tunnel was able to overcome bombing.Some facts say, that under this tunnel, there are many luxury rooms, which should help Hitler and his officeers to survire in case of crysis. Today, only a jacket is original - during Cold war it was used by a Red army as a warehouse and later, it was used to make field agaric.
