Slovakiaring was opened in October 2009. It was designed by an Austrian architect Hans Roth. The total length of the circuit is 5922 m, and the whole complex covers 85 ha. Slovakiaring is constructed so that it can be used both ways. The multifunctional circuit offers six different tracks where the shortest is 2632 m and the longest 5922 m long. The tribune of the circuit can hold up to a 1000 spectators. However, other tribunes are to be built, including natural ones. The planned capacity is around 50,000 spectators. The companies Kayak and Tradeform Finance Limited stand behind the project of Slovakiaring. They have invested around 22 million EUR, so far.
Slovakiaring is not used only by racers. During free days, motorcyclists can also use Slovakiaring. A day at the circuit costs about 100 EUR. A 30 minutes free ride costs 15-20 EUR.
