Ski Resort Brienz – Axalp offers a total of 25 km of slopes. There are 10 km of black, 6 km of red and 9 km of blue slopes. Transportation is provided by a chair lift and 3 ski lifts. Unfortunately, the site offers no great options for free ride or freestyle. But the centre is very well arranged. The lovers of classical skiing will find in Ski Resort Brienz – Axalp 38 km of skiing trails. The area has a children's winter resort - Axiland, organizing various animation programs for children.
The peak season in Ski Resort Brienz – Axalp runs usually from mid-December to mid-April. A one-day ski pass in the peak season costs 51 CHF for adults and 34 CHF for children. The area offers a wide range of afterskiing activities such as tobogganing and winter hiking. You can also visit the local Museum of Wood-carving. The resort further has a ski school, a ski equipment shop and rental, as well as refreshments.
Every year in October, Ski Resort Brienz – Axalp holds an important air show, where the Swiss Air Force demonstrates its techniques (the Swiss Air Force Air Show) . This air show is a great attraction for all lovers of aircraft and flying. You can see here the newest military aircraft techniques, as well as various acrobatic formations or simulated military interventions. Local people and tourists observe the performance from the surrounding hills.
