San Antonio is the second most densely populated city in Texas, USA. It is considered as the most beautiful city in Texas. The main symbol of San Antonio is an old Spanish mission Alamo , the locality where in 1836 the key events during the fight for independence of Texas took place. Most of the population in the city San Antonio are Hispanic or Latino. The architecture in the city and its atmosphere is a blend of many cultures, interwoven with Spanish charm.

San Antonio is ranked among the most picturesque and lively cities in the United States of America . It is frequently visited due to a variety of attractions, amusement parks and historic monuments.

San Antonio is located in the state Texas, in Bexar County, in the south of the United States of America . It is situated on the banks of the San Antonio River. The city of San Antonio is the seventh largest city in the USA. It has a population of approximately 1.3 million, most of them of Hispanic origin. The leading industry is pharmaceutics. There are several very important hospitals and research institutes. San Antonio is known for the base of American Air Force which provides trainings for soldiers of NATO member armies. The city of San Antonio occupies approximately 1100 km2. It is located in the humid, subtropical climatic zone. July and August are the hottest months, with average temperature 35°C. The coldest month is January (-18 C) . Typical rainy seasons are connected with May, June and October.


There is an important airport in San Antonio (San Antonio International Airport) , located approximately 9 km from the city center.
