Tourists usually admire the architecture of the Kahal Zur Israel Synagogue. Other tourist attractions in Recife include the museum (Museum do Estado de Pernambuco) in the fortress called Cinco Pontes, and also the theater (Teatro Santa Isabel) , and the multi-purpose building called Malakoff Tower (it is the memorial, the cultural center and the observatory) .
