Ream National Park protects 21 000 ha of coastal areas and mangrove forests in south Cambodia . It is located about 20 km from the port city Kâmpóng Saôm . Ream National Park was founded in 1993 by king Norod Sihanouk. It covers 15 000 ha of land and 6 000 ha of sea. Ream National Park protects sandy beaches, tropical jungles, parts of the sea with coral reeves and two islands. Ream National Park is a home to 155 species of birds, rare monkeys and dolphins. We can find here several ruins of Hindu temples. Ream National Park is open to the public, and it offers hiking trails and sea cruises.
