The Pszczynski Park occupies an area of 156 ha. Its origins are linked with the reconstruction of Pszcynski castle in the 16th century. At that time beautiful gardens were developed. The Pszczynski Park was remodelled several times during the recent history. Currently, the Pszczynski Park is an English-type park, which is the result of the development in the 2nd half of the 19th century.
The present Pszczynski Park comprises roughly three parts. The palace gardens, the castle gardens, and the menagerie, where you can see, for example, mouflons, European bison, fallow deer and other wildlife.
