Port Aventura

It features two advantureous rides. The first of them is the ride on the roller-coaster named Furius Baco. It has a top speed at 135 km/h and it is the fastest roller-coaster in Europe. The other attraction is the Boat Ride. The restaurants and shops in this section of the park reproduce a typical coastal town in Catalonia. The second section, called Far West, is themed as an old Wild West town. This area features 9 attractions. The most popular of them are the roller -coasters, for example, the Tomahawk designed for children and the wooden Stampida, the second largest roller -coaster in the Port Aventura. Visitors who love Mayan culture should not miss the third section, called Mexico. It is themed around Mayan Mexico. The most popular attractions in this part of the Port Aventura is the Hurakan Condor,a 100- metre-tall drop tower. The ride provides a large view at the top before riders are sent to free fall to the bottom of the ride. Another great attraction is the Temple Del Foc. It is the ride that will take you to search for treasure to experience a fantastic pyrotechnic show. The El Diable-Tren de la Mina, a underground train, is very popular too. The fourth part, called China, offers one of the most famous roller-coasters in Europe , Dragon Khan. It helds the world record as having the highest vertical inversion. The ride along this part of the Port Aventura is themed around the Great Wall of China. In the last, fifth part - called Polynesia - you can have a ride around a live volcano. There is one of the most unique rides at the Port Aventura - Sea Odyssey. It is a dynamic cinema themed as a submarine, so you can take a journey to the bottom of the ocean. When you decide to visit the Port Aventura, make sure you do not miss the La Selva del Miedo, allegedly the largest maze in Europe . The resort offers hotesl, aquaparks, golf courses and beach clubs.
