The square-shaped fountain has 4 statues of men at the corners. Each statue symbolizes the rivers Nile, Ganges, Danube and Rio de la Plata. There is also one smaller fountain on the square Piazza Navona- the Neptune's Fountain from the sculptor Giacomo della Porta .
