The Pericnik Waterfall comprises two parts. The upper part is 16 meters high while the lower one is 52 meter high. The fascinating waterfall is the remnants the Ice Ages, when the largest glacier in the Vrata Valley on, the northern side of the Julian Alps, had formed a beautiful valley, spreading from Mojstrana to the northern foothills of Mount Triglav.
