There are ten ski slopes in the Olos Ski Resort , so everyone can choose the slope that suits their abilities. There are blue, red and a black slopes, and even a green one for children. Beginners, advanced skiers and snowboarders will certainly enjoy their time here. Transportation is provided by four ski lifts. The longest track is 1400 m long with an elevation of 210 m. Children have their own lift. The Olos Ski Resort is connected to the 250 km of cross-country skiing trails. They run through the town Muonio, as well as through wonderful Lapp nature: e.g. the Särkijärvi and Jerisjärvi lakes. The trails also run through the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park known by its unique nature. The terrain is rather varied, so cross-country skiing can be relaxing or it can be a good training, too. A ski equipment rental and a ski school are also available in the Olos Ski Resort .
The Lapland Hotels is a network of luxury hotels all over Lapland. The Lapland Hotel Olos stands right next to the ski resort. This chain of hotels often hosts various conferences, and Hotel Olos is no exception. It is also very popular among skiers, mainly because of its location. The hotel has a pleasant restaurant, half of which is made of glass, so you can enjoy a delicious meal together with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside.
There are airports in four Lapp cities: Enontekiö, Kittilä, Rovaniemi and Ivalo. The flight from Helsinki takes about 90 minutes. There are bus connections to the Olos Ski Resort from these cities.
