The Niedźwiedzia Cave has beautiful cave formations, which make her one of the most attractive caves in the country. Only 200 meters of passages were accessible until 1966. Further exploration was initiated in 1972 and the Niedźwiedzia Cave was open to public in 1983. The length of the passages is more than 2 kilometers today. 200 cave passages had been discovered. Sidewalks marked off in a special way and the lighting together with the stunning cave formations - stalagmites rising from the floor, stalactites hanging from the ceiling, cascades descending the porous cave walls etc., presage an extraordinary show. Many preserved Pleistocene bone remains, predominantly cave bear bones, were found in the past.
The Niedźwiedzia Cave is open to public from February to April and from September to November daily (except Monday and Thursday) from 10 to 17:40. From May to August it is open daily (except Monday and Thursday) from 9 to 16:40. The entrance fee is 18 PLN for adults and 13 PLN for children. During the holiday season the entrance is 2 PLN more expensive. The fee for bringing the camera is 10 PLN and 15 PLN for the video camera.
