Museum Kon-tiki is located in the Norwegian capital city Oslo, on the peninsula Bygday. The museum focuses on the expedition, which has been undertaken by the famous Thor Heyerdahl. Museum Kon-tiki shows the rafts with which Heyerdahl made his voyage, to prove that ancient civilizations could cross the sea on primitive rafts. Museum Kon-tiki also shows exhibits relating to the sea and life in it. Visitors of the museum can watch films which relate to Heyerdahl expeditions, or sea animals.
