The other two forts - Al Jalali and Mirami - are at the entrance to the city. The two forts are used by the police and by the army so there is no public access. The most popular monuments in the city are the Ali Mosque and the New Mosque, the Sultan Qabuse Palace, the Representative Palace with beautiful gardens.
