Mount Hermon

Hermon, also known as the "chief and snowy mountain", has three summits, actually. It is situated at the borderline between Lebanon and Syria, and a part of the mountain is administered by Israel. The mountain is much higher than the nearby relief so it catches a lot of precipitation. In winter and spring, all three summits of Mount Hermon are covered with snow. A part of Mount Hermon constitutes the Hermon nature reserve.
