Mont Cameroon(Mongo ma Ndemi) is active volcano situated in south-west Cameroon near the Gulf of Guinea. This mountain is high 4095 m. Mount Cameroon is the highest mountain in Cameroon and one of the highest mountains in Africa. Its top is covered with snow during all year. First Volcano eruptions was recorded in the 5th century BC. The largest explosion was recorded in 1922, when lava reached the Atlantic coast. The last explosion was in 1999 when lava stopped around 200 meters from the coast. There are hundreds of craters around Mount Cameroon.
