Milešovka is one of the highest mountains of the Central Bohemian Uplands. It is located in the north of the Czech Republic . Its peak lies at an altitude of 836 m. Milešovka got its name after a nearby village called Milešov, which is only about 2 km away. There has been a National Nature Reserve since 1951. Many rare plants (purple lilies, iris aphyllas, pulmonaryies, etc) grow at the local slopes. In the 1820s, the country's first mountain restaurant was opened at the top of the mountain. In 1905, a meteorological station was established here, and later a 19 m high observation tower was built next to it. Milešovka offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.
