Manovo Gounda Saint Floris National Park is a protected area in the Central African Republic
. It is located in the northern part of the country, in the region Vakaga. Manovo Gounda Saint Floris National Park is a reservation, which is a home to a large number of endangered species. The extensive savannas support such diverse species as rhinos, elephants, leopards, wild dogs, buffaloes and red-fronted gazelles. Northward are various types of waterfowls. The characteristic landscape is created by savannas, the wetlands along the rivers and the sandstones of the Massif des Bongo. Manovo Gounda Saint Floris National Park was added to the UNESCO
World Heritage List in 1988, and it was registered on the UNESCO List of World Heritage in Danger in 1997. It was primarily due to the poachers threatening the animals who have also killed four employees of the park.
