Lotus Temple is one of the remarkable architectures of Bahai faith, in addition to a prominent attraction in Delhi. Lotus Temple truly is famous because of its appearance. Lotus is often a symbol of peace, purity, love and immortality. The fascinating building of Lotus Temple or Bahai temple was completed in 1986. Its design appears like a half opened Lotus flower with 27 wonderful huge white petals made of marble. It is about 40 meters tall encompassed by nine ponds and appears as if the temple is floating just like a lotus flower in water. The temple has a striking though plain central hall where you can meditate. Lotus Temple is also usually compared to the Sydney Opera House. It's got recognized worldwide as one of the most visited edifices on earth with almost 50 million people having visited the temple since its inception.
