Long Sơn Pagoda was built in 1886 on a slight hill. It was destroyed by a typhoon in 1900, so it had to be moved to the foot of the hill. At the original place, there stands a white statue of Gautama Buddha. In 1940, under the command of Thích Tôn Thất Quyền Long Sơn Pagoda was repaired and expanded. In 1968 it was badly damaged during the war.
The main entrance of the shrine is decorated with dragon mosaics of glass and ceramics. The 152 stone steps leads to the statue of Buddha. The vicinity of the statue is used as an outlook, from which you can see the city Nha Trang .
