The Lithuanian Sea Museum is the national museum. It comprises four zones - the Aquarium, the Dolphinarium, a fishing village, and an exposition of ancient ships. Visitors can explore the underwater world in the Baltic and North seas, including the fauna and flora in the Lithuanian rivers, lakes, etc. The complex occupies an area of 85,000m2, of which approximately 2,500 m2 is indoor and 30,558 square meters is the outdoor area. The Lithuanian Sea Museum presents more than 60, 000 exhibits. You will get to known a lot about the life of fishermen in the past, about the history of Lithuanian navigation, you can explore historic anchors and other instruments and technologies, etc.Every year, the Lithuanian Sea Museum is visited by over 400, 000 people.
