. The landscape covers an area of 12 hectares. There are many caves and the locality is surrounded by a lagoon. The dominating feature of this landscape is a 556 m high basalt rock. The cultural landscape is also one of the last three places where the rarest plants in the world, mandrinette, grow. Another rare plant that grows only on the rocks is trochetia boutoniana.
