Lago di Sorapis

Lago di Sorapis, also Sorapiss, is located near the mountain passage Passo Tre Croci (Dolomiti bellunesi) , at the starting point of the Dolomiti Trail No.215. The trail is led through the woods and slightly ascends. A short while before it reaches the lake the trail switches onto a a rocky path along the cliff about 400 meters deep. At the end of this section, the trail enters a forest. Lago di Sorapis is elevated 1923 m above sea. It is surrounded by robust rock massifs from three sides. The colour of the water in the lake is incredibly blue. Not far from Lago di Sorapis you will come across a small hut with basic services. The trip to Lago di Sorapis is not extremely difficult.
