Krka National Park is located in the central part of Dalmatia, Croatia, surrounding almost the whole length of karst river - Krka. The biggest waterfall is called Skradinski. Water here falls from 17 travertine terraces and cascades into the depth of 37.5m. Krka National Park is famours by rich fauna and flora. The most interesting parts of the park are accessible by boat. Krka National Park was founded in 1985 and spreads accross 109 km2. The park can be entered from 3 points - Skradin town, Lozovac village and Roch waterfall. There is Bobodol lake near Knin with Bilušica waterfall 22m high. Down the river there is another lake and one more waterfall. Then the river goes through rocks creating four waterfalls: Brljan, Manojlovac (62m) , cascade waterfall Rošnjak and Miljacka (24m) and continues through 7km long narrow gorge ending by Roch waterfall. The waterfall rapids are 650m long and this waterfall is called the most beautiful. Interesting water mills are close to this place. Then water spreads into Visovac lake in the middle of which there is an island with Franciscan monastery. Already mentioned Scradinski waterfalls come after that.
