Kos is the capital of a Greek island with the same name. It will charm its visitors with its spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding area. In the past, the city was influenced by many cultures. The Greek, the Roman, the Turkish, as well as the Italian cultures have left their marks here. An important chapter of the city's history was written by the Order of Saint John. When leaving Kos in any direction, you will breathe in the past. The city is bordered with historical buildings. Nearby stands an important monument - the Asclepeion . The monument was discovered only in the last century, and is one of the first places where Hippocratic medicine began to develop.
