Even today it is closely bound with its marine past. Streets were made wide for army parades. The mains square is called Stortorget with two churches on it, Saint Trinity Church of Trefaldighetskyrk and Fredrikskyrk. On the square Amiralitets Torget, a wooden church Admirality can be found. It is the biggest wooden church in Sweden which was built in 1685. The Marine Museum in Karlskrona is very popular and significant, too.
