In the territory of the city of Kamenec Podolsky you will come across a number of gigantic monuments. The dominating landmark is the castle with the so-called Turkish ramparts, which is one of the oldest Ukrainian castles. It was built in the second half of the 14th century. At present, it is the history museum. Among the other interesting historical landmarks in the town, let´s mention at least the remnants of the town fortifications originating from the end of the 14th century, the old town hall, the Dominican church from the 16th century, the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul from the 16th century, the Catholic Dome and the Turkish Bridge over the Smotrych River.
