Jedlový Důl Valley

The Jedlový Důl Valley can be found in the northern part of the Czech Republic , in the village of Josefův Důl , in the Jizera Mountains . They are among the most unique places of the Jizera Mountains. The whole valley covers an area of more than 12 ha, and it is a protected nature reserve. A nature trail with 6 stops leads through the Jedlový Důl Valley. After a demanding journey leading through wet rocks and tree roots, you will reach the Jedlová Waterfall. It is a home to many rare species of animals (click beetles, boreal owls and the rare stock dove) and vegetation (e.g. the giant fir and the Douglas fir) imported into Jedlový Důl Valley from North America.
