The Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou Chateau is located in the Czech Republic , about 50km southeast from the city Jihlava . Originally it was a medieval water fortress, rebuilt to the Renaissance chateau in the 16th century. During the first half of the 18th Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou Chateau was rebuilt in the Baroque style by the Questenberg family. more »

This Baroque style has been maintained until the recent days. The Questenbergs owned the castle between 1700 - 1737. At that time it was a great cultural centre with a large library, a gallery and a theatre. The chateau even had its own music band. At present, you can see interiors in the Baroque and 19th century style, period music instruments and music equipment. The castle is open to the public in April and October only at weekends. From May to September every day except Mondays..
