The Jabrin Fort is an ancient castle in Oman . It is located in an oasis in the middle of the Jabal Akhdar Mountains, about 10 km from the city Bahla in Ad Dakhiliyah region, Oman . The palace has a rectangular floor plan with two round towers - in the north and south corners. The Jabrin Fort is surrounded with a defense wall which creates the outer courtyard. The palace was built of irregular stone blocks. Two arched gates are guarded by cannons. The southwest wing is a three-storey building while the northeast wing has four floors. The ceilings are lined with teak wood and decorated with Persian floral and geometric motifs. The main hall has a wooden ceiling decorated with verses from the Koran and with floral motifs.
