International Mills Museum Gifhorn

International museum of water and wind mills is located in Gifhorn. At countryside area of 100.000 m2, there is 15 original mills. Mills were taken here from whole Germany, but also another world countries = The Netherlands, Corea, Ukraine, Greece, France, Spain and others. River Isa flows through whole area. Museum is opened since 1980. The most important part of Gifhorn is exhibition hall with area of 800m2, where you can find miniatures of all famous mills in the world. Int the centre of museum you can find bakery, mill house and house of costumes.
