Hukvaldy Tropic is a garden centre showing an Asian garden, a few greenhouses and a private breeding of exotic animals. It is located in the town Hukvaldy, in North Moravia, 12 km from Frýdek-Místek , in the Czech Republic . The beginnings of Hukvaldy Tropic date back to 1983, when the first greenhouse was built. Hukvaldy Tropic shows tropical and subtropical plants, citruses, pineapple trees, figs, cinnamon tree, ginger, papaya and many other plants. We can find there also other plants such as bonsai, carnivorous plants, cacti and more. The opening time in Hukvaldy Tropic is: 1 June - 30 September: Tuesday - Sunday 09.00 - 18.00. 1 October - 30 May: Thursday – Sunday 09.00 - 18:00.
