Hua is a mountain in China . It is situated in the central part of the country, in the Qinling Mountains, in the southern province of Shaanxi, near the town of Huayin. Hua is one of the five most important mountains of China. It has a long history of religious significance. The peak is worshiped by the followers of Taoism. Hua consists of five main peaks, the highest is the southern peak with an altitude of 2160 m. For the ordinary tourists it is quite demanding to reach the top of the mountain, as it can be reached only with the help of climbers. In the surroundings of Hua, we can find many traditional Taoist temples. The oldest ones here had been built in the 2nd century BC. The Taoists believed that the god of the underworld lived in these mountains.
