Hohenklingen Castle stands in the town of Stein am Rhein in Switzerland . It is situated on a cliff on Klingenberg Hill (593 metres above sea level) . Hohenklingen Castle was built in the 13th century by Duke Walther von Klingen. The most valuable objects and rooms in the castle are the preserved armoury, the precious stained glass from the 16th century and the castle tower, which offers a beautiful view of the city and the river Rhine. more »
