Hidalgo del Parral is a Mexican city in the south of the state Chihuahua . It spreads approximately 100 km from the city of Ciudad Camargo , in Mexico . Hidalgo del Parral was founded under the name San José del Parral. The legend says that in 1629 Juan Rangel de Biezma picked up a stone on the hill Cerro La Prieta and proclaimed: "There is a mineral deposit here."
