The Hash Marihuana Hemp Museum was open in 1985 and attracts more than 100 thousand visitors every year..

Expositions

The museum presents sample historical products made of this plant. You can see various clothes, shoes, bowls, glasses or frisbee made of hemp. A part of the exposition deals with the chemical analysis of cannabis, including the data about its malignancy if it is abused as a drug. In addition, there are curiosities - things taken from runners who had smuggled the plant over the border. Moreover, there is a list of organizations and government institutions that have fought against cannabis users. Cannabis lovers can look at various types of hookah and other "accessories".

Curative effects and regular use of hemp

Another section of the museum deals with curative effects of cannabis. Here, you can see a variety of ointments, healing oils and balsams, along with perfumes, matches, beer, wine, spirit , etc. made of hemp.

Hemp growing room

At the end of the tour around the museum, you will come across a hemp growing room - surprise for most of the visitors. In the Netherlands , usage of cannabis is legal, so right next to the museum you will see a little shop that sells various types of cannabis seed.

The Hash Marihuana Hemp Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Admission: €9 (adults) . Children aged 13 or younger are only allowed with adult (for free) .
