Graceland is a one-floor villa in Elvis Presley Boulevard and its house´s number is 3764. In villa´s land is also a beautiful park in an area of 5 hectares. Around the park there is a stone wall, on which tourists write messages for Elvis Presley. Graceland villa was built in a colonial style and there are still 23 rooms in it. Elvis Presley bought it in 1957. All around the park were built some smaller houses and a playground with a swimming pool.
Many tourists visit Graceland because of Elvis Presley´s memory. In its Meditation garden is also a grave where is Elvis Presley buried. Every year on 15th August (this is a day before Elvis´s death) is organized an assembly to commemoration of the „king of rock´n´roll“. Very interesting are also Elvis Presley´s things, which are public access. For example two planes called Lisa Marie and Hound Dog JetStar or many luxury vehicles. Probably the famous of this cars is a pink Cadillac, which Elvis Presley bought to his mother. In Graceland is opened 7 rooms to the public – for example Elvis´s kitchen or his office. Very interesting is also a Trophy hall, where are every Elvis´s gold albums or his costumes.
There is a shop center opposite the Graceland, where you can buy souvenirs, for examples Elvis´s wine, socks or towels and the others. Graceland museum is opened all week. Basic entry is 30 dollars for adult. Children under 6 are free. Full entry is 34 dollars and VIP tour is 69 dollars. (2010)
