Golden Bay has a great number of beautiful beaches such as Wharariki Beach, Puponga Beach Waikato Beach and many more. All beaches in Golden Bay are sandy with a gradual entry into the sea. There are steep cliffs dividing some of the beaches and on those cliffs visitors can admire beautiful sceneries. In the surroundings of Golden Bay are plenty of hiking trails for example Papa Walkway or Kaituna Track.
