The Gega Waterfall is a natural monument in Georgia . It is located in the northwestern part of the country, at the confluence of the mountain rivers Gega and Yupshara. The Gega Waterfall is created of streams and rivers flowing from the underground karst cave through an imperceptible crack in the rock. The waterfall is 50 m high. In sunny days, the falling water creates a beautiful rainbow. The famous scene from the movie The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson was shot by the Gega Waterfall. It is the scene where Sherlock Holmes is fighting with professor Moriatti.
