Finiq is a very old city - ancient sources mention that the city was rich, cultural and commercial center, especially during the Hellenistic period. Visitors come to the city to admire the remains of the ancient theater, Hellenistic houses, Roman water reservoirs and the ruins of a Byzantine church.
