About Endau Rompin National Park
Endau Rompin National Park covers an area of 870 km2. The park consists of woodland and wetlands where a large number of endemic plants and endangered animals can be found. The Endau Rompin National Park is best known as the place where extremely rare Sumatran rhino lives. The Endau Rompin National Park belongs among the oldest tropical rainforests in the world- some of the local rock formations are about 248 million years old. The starting point for visiting the park is from the city of Kahang.
