Dybow Castle was built in the middle of a green meadow. It is a typical example of Polish medieval architecture. In the past, Dybow Castle was designed for defense purposes, which you can see in the layout even now.
Dybow Castle was built in the first half of the fifteenth century. However, after about three years of its existence, it was conquered and badly damaged by the Crusaders. When it was returned to the Poles, it became a royal residence. Since the 17th century the Dybow Castle was owned by several owners and it was damaged and restored again several times. The ruins of the construction which you can see today come from the nineteenth century. In fact, what you can see now is the outside walls and houses and the entrance gate. In the original residence there were three storeys, and also three round towers.
