The Drawienski National Park was established in order to protect the valuable territory along the Drawa and Plocziczna Rivers. There are numerous rare species of fauna and flora. For example, you can come across some 210 species of mushroom and 400-year old oak trees. The park is the habitat to 129 birdspecies, 40 species of mammals, 7 species of reptiles and 13 species of amphibians. The water in the rivers and lakes is very clean so a lot of fish species were recognized in the park as well..
